How it Works
To operate the Mini Humbug/Berlingot Machine, simply feed a rope of candy into the designated in-feed section. As the machine’s 4 beveled cutting gears rotate they simultaneously pull the candy rope into the machine and cut it into humbugs. The result is a chain of perfectly formed Humbug or Berlingot sweets with the trademark tetrahedron shape. Once cooled, these can be easily broken up into individual candies.
The humbug machine is designed for table-top use and comes with a secure clamping device to prevent movement during operation. For installation, simply drill the clamp into your table surface, allowing the machine to be stably affixed.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Maintaining the Humbug / Berlingot machine is a straightforward process due to its user-friendly design. Engineered for ease of use and minimal upkeep, no specialised skills are required to maintain the machine effectively. The design eliminates the need for tools wherever possible, allowing for swift and efficient removal of components for cleaning such as the cutters.
Installation and Support
The humbug machine comes with a detailed video manual that covers every aspect of operation, cleaning, and essential maintenance. These instructional videos aim to simplify the initial setup, ensuring that you can start using your new equipment without delay.
